Communication

All child are encouraged to express themselves as they gain the skills to understand and express their thoughts and feelings.

Learn Through Play

Learning through play encourages problem solving, nurtures a child’s creativity, imagination, self esteem and promotes independence.

Loving Teachers

Your child is allocated a ‘Key Person’ within their classroom who is responsible for their well-being and developmental milestones and academic needs. Your child's Key Person will communicate daily on your Child's day.

Enabling Environment

Enabling Environment

Watch our video to see how we carefully planned our learning environment to maximize space, safety, social gatherings for your children.
Our caterpillars room has a variety of resources for babies including walkers, boungers, bumbo seats, high chairs, sensory toys, soft furnishings, wooly carpet as well as it’s own sleep area including cots. The room is bright and eye catching for them to explore.
Our Bumblebees room is a very spacious room for those children who love to move around and explore their environment. It has two seating areas, one for music time which includes beautiful musical art work on the wall, the other carpet area where they can easily reach the many resources on the shelves including lots of different construction toys. We have a play structure where the children can climb up steps developing their muscles and learning how to independently use steps. We also have a home corner, small kitchen, car mat with garage and cars, book basket as well as a large table for eating and adult led activities which encourages social skills. The children also have access to a low bearing sink so they can independently wash their hands before and after play and eating.
All our rooms upstairs have the same theme throughout, they all have access to their own toilet and wash hand basin, two carpet areas for differentiated learning, whiteboards and blackboards so the children can independently use different writing tools during class activities and free play. All our classrooms have book baskets, construction materials and a variety of different resources at children's level for independent choosing.

Our reception class has been designed with a different feel so the children know they a level above the remaining classes, they have tables and chairs for older children, they have computer tables, along with a reading area/quiet area.
The Learning area is the most popular room of the school, yes… the learning area, the children love this room and we do too as it’s a space where they can be creative, use their imagination, develop a love for reading and work on their communication, social, and creative skills as well as imagination and role play scenarios.
Our communal areas are such as walk ways and stairs are clean and child safety with a gate at the top and the bottom of the carpeted stairs as well as railings at children’s height. The children’s bag hooks are placed in the corridors, we use the children’s names and pictures on each hook so they can initially recognize themselves to identify their hook or bag and eventually their name. Each door has a check into school register, where the child has to find their name and check themselves in and out of school by moving their name to the appropriate picture.
